Bill Mechnick, ASLA facilitates the project planning process and helps to translate the Shenandoah Wellness Center’s mission and objectives into a physical place. Bill has over 20 years of experience with landscape architecture, land planning and public participation. He has led the design and planning of a diverse range of projects including parks and recreation, downtown revitalization, mixed use communities and institutional projects. His design firm, Land Planning and Design Associates, makes places for people. Bill and his firm’s partners have significant experience with land development and entitlement processes for residential, mixed use and community projects.
Bill directs his firm’s efforts to projects that improve quality of life, economics and the environment. Each project strives to connect people to each other, their community and place. In this way his firm positively affects the lives of people and it creates places that are memorable and make a lasting difference. Bill focuses on a process that integrates the needs of clients and community with site and environmental conditions.
