Ed is an experienced global leader who couples business, technology and management experience to build top-and bottom-line value for a wide range of companies throughout his career from the Fortune 500 to startups and restarts. Recently he has managed client delivery with a team of 400+ global resources providing BPO, customer support, product management, software development, cloud and data migrations, and process management.
Ed is a proactive strategist with over 30 years’ experience in leadership roles supporting large scale telecommunication programs, account management, network architecture, engineering, planning, implementation, business operations, optimization; contract and customer success management, SLA development, process improvement and fiscal management.
Key projects include an Economic Development Zone Project in the historic 18 th and Vine District of Kansas City, a high-speed network to support a DARPA consortium, multiple leading-edge nationwide networks, and cloud-based SaaS/PaaS implementations processing millions of transactions per year.
Within Akal Ed is a key member of the corporate leadership team defining the critical corporate initiatives, business strategy, development, and technology applications as they apply to the greatest good of all concerned.
He holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a longstanding member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
