From the benches on First Street, you can watch the only working Railroad station between Roanoke VA and Hagerstown MD. There are also many outdoor opportunities at their Shenandoah River Park including fishing and many other water sports. The River Park is also frequented by the James Madison University's Rowing team. Shenandoah has many unique and specialty shops for visitors to browse.
